Yes. Office calls answer Mon–Fri 9am–5pm. Out of those hours the freephone routes to the on-call engineer. We tell you the truth about how soon we can be there — no 'we'll be 10 minutes' to win the booking.
What counts as an emergency?+
Water is escaping, a drain is backing up, sewage is on the floor, the supply has stopped. If it's leaking slowly and can wait until morning, we'd rather you waited and we charged you office-hours rates.
Will I pay more for an emergency callout?+
Out-of-hours work is at a higher rate than office hours — we'll tell you on the phone what that rate is before we set off. No 'work first, surprise later' bills.
